Margi Young and Shanti Brian come together for a Sunday afternoon workshop devoted to slowing down, listening inward, and giving voice to what wants to be written.
Beloved Nest teacher Margi Young has dedicated her life to yoga and meditation as pathways toward clarity, steadiness, and ease. Shanti is a writing teacher who helps people know themselves more deeply and write their stories so they can grow—and make their unique impact on the world. Together, they bring complementary practices that support both inner listening and honest expression.
Join them at Nest for this two-hour writing and yoga workshop. The afternoon is designed to help clear mental cobwebs, soften physical tension, and create the conditions for writing that feels true, alive, and nourishing. The writing prompts will focus on the body: meaningful memories related to our bodies, the emotions we hold there, and the messages our bodies may be sending us.
When the world feels chaotic or scary, returning to ourselves—physically and emotionally—can be grounding and stabilizing. This workshop offers a gentle space to reconnect and listen.
The workshop will include:
Guided meditation & breath work A well-crafted, accessible movement sequence Writing prompts Stillness and rest Group discussion and optional sharing Please bring a journal
Sliding Scale: $15-75
