FINDING GROUND: YOGA AND EXPLORATION IN PERU
To celebrate the launch, we’re offering $400 off if you register by my birthday, June 5th!
Join Margi Young for a transformative 10-day retreat deep in the awe-inspiring landscape of Peru's Sacred Valley. We will use yoga as a way to ground ourselves in presence so that we can be with the richness of this ancient land with extra keen clarity and curiosity. Our practice will focus on cultivating steadiness and ease, opening the body, heart, and mind. As we explore the mysteries of Machu Picchu and the vibrant culture of the Andes, we'll seek to balance effort and surrender, creating space for deeper awareness. You will leave feeling both rooted and expanded, with a renewed sense of connection to yourself and the world around you.

Melissa on a trail in Peru
“THE ONLY THING THAT COULD HAVE MADE MARGI’S RETREAT TO ANGKOR WAT ANY BETTER THAN IT WAS: MOUNTAINS! AND PERU HAS PLENTY OF THEM, DOTTED WITH RUINS.
THE IY PERU TRIP ITINERARY IS IDEAL, MOVING ALONG THE SACRED VALLEY AND SEEING LESSER-KNOWN SITES FIRST SO THAT YOU CAN REALLY APPRECIATE THE ENGINEERING FEAT OF MACHU PICCHU ON ALL LEVELS WHEN YOU GET THERE. IN BETWEEN YOGA SESSIONS IN THE AMAZING SHALA, IT FELT GREAT TO BE IN NATURE, CHALLENGING MY LUNGS AND ENJOYING THE VIEWS. THERE ARE SOME LONG DAYS IN THE VAN, BUT VALENTIN AND HIS CREW ARE INCREDIBLY HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGABLE WITHOUT BEING INTRUSIVE. IT REALLY WAS A PLEASURE GETTING TO KNOW THEM AND TO BE INVOLVED IN EVEN A SMALL WAY IN THE SCHOOL PROJECT THEY HAVE LAUNCHED. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING THE DAY OFF TO ORGANIZE A HIKE WITH ONE OF THE GUIDES: WE SAW BEAUTIFUL WATERFALLS AND HAD THE TRAIL MOSTLY TO OURSELVES FOR MOST OF THE DAY. CUSCO FELT LIKE A BIG CITY AFTER ALL THE QUIET, KIND OF A NECESSARY PREPARATION FOR RE-ENTRY. IF YOU CAN MANAGE A DAY LAYOVER IN LIMA ON YOUR WAY BACK, THERE’S LOTS TO SEE AND EAT, BUT BE SURE TO LEAVE YOURSELF WAY MORE TIME THAN YOU THINK YOU’LL NEED AT THE AIRPORT.“
